October 1, 2021 – Dodge County, WI – Dodge County Supervisor Jeff Schmitt died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 29, 2021. He was 58.
Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt confirmed the news late Friday evening. Schmitt was a supervisor in District 5 which covered Beaver Dam.
Schmitt served his first term on the Dodge County board from 2004-2014; he presently was serving his second term which began in 2018.
Schmitt also served as chairman in the Town of Beaver Dam.
