January 12, 2024 – Jackson, WI – What makes Jackson so awesome are truly the people.
Jackson Police and Jackson Fire Department responded to a call to assist an elderly resident this morning.
As the squad was pulling up to the home, neighbors from around the corner and next door were sprinting after the squad with their shovels in hand.
They jumped in without a second thought to assist Officer Gerke with clearing a path for JFD personnel to get a stretcher to the house.
After clearing the entire driveway, they dispersed nearly as quickly as they arrived.
Police weren’t able to get their names, but thank you gentlemen.
