Hartford, WI – There’s good news from Jack Russell Memorial Library in Hartford. Library director Jennifer Einwalter has posted a message below.
We are rolling out self-service pickup starting Thursday, March 19. This temporary service will be available Monday through Friday from noon – 5 p.m. as long as library staff are able to come in while the facility is closed to citizens.
Our goal is to be able to get materials into your hands during these unprecedented times. This is a brand new way for us to provide materials to all of you so I ask for your patience with my staff as we work to pull and bundle items and notify you of holds.
Please read through how this temporary service will run and know that we will tweak the process as needed. My staff and I are committed to getting materials into your hands while keeping everyone safe.
The City of Hartford remains committed to providing as many services as possible during the CDC’s recommendation that people avoid social gatherings of more than 10 people to slow the spread of COVID-19.
I will respond to all questions posted here as I see them come in tonight.
It’s been an unusually quiet day here today without our citizens visiting for services. We miss seeing all of you!
Be well Hartford.
Jennifer Einwalter Library Director
