Interview date set for candidates interested in Washington County Circuit Court Branch 4 Judge’s seat

January 31, 2020 – Washington Co., WI – Invitations have been sent to at least six candidates who filed applications to fill the judge’s seat in Washington County Circuit Court Branch 4.

The seat is being vacated by Branch 4 Judge Andrew Gonring who will be retiring March 28, 2020.

Governor Evers is expected to name a replacement judge once Gonring’s retirement is effective.

Interviews before the Governor’s Judicial Selection Advisory Committee will be held Friday, February 7.

Two of the six candidates have confirmed their interest in the position including Attorney Mike Kenitz and Washington County Judicial Court Commissioner Dolores Bomrad.

Candidates applying for the position may ask that their name be kept confidential.
