June 1, 2024 – Ozaukee Co., WI – On June 1, 2024 at approximately 2:30 a.m. an inmate at the Ozaukee County Jail was found deceased in a holding cell. The subject is identified as a 36-year-old male from Milwaukee.
We are unable to release his name until his next of kin has been notified. The incident was turned over to Washington County Sheriff’s Office for investigation, per Ozaukee County policy.
The subject was being held on local charges and an out-of-county warrant. He had been in custody since May 30, 2024.
The investigation is active and ongoing. Additional information will be released when available.

Wow. Had been in custody for 48hrs then found dead afterwords. Pretty hard to commit suicide in their holding cells. Not impossible however. Wonder if he needed a medicine or some medical reasons? Damn.
