Serious injury semi vs. vehicle crash in Dodge Co. | By Dodge Co. Sheriff

Dodge Co., WI – On November 19, 2024, at approximately 5 p.m., Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to a passenger car versus semi crash on County Road N at Goodland Road in the town of Rubicon, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

Initial investigation shows a 2021 Infinity passenger car was northbound on Goodland Road when it failed to stop at the stop sign on Goodland Road at County Road N.

 The vehicle was struck by a 2024 Western Starsemi traveling westbound on County Road N.  The vehicle was pushed into the north ditch where both vehicles came to a rest.

The driver of the Infinity, a 23-year-old male from Milwaukee, was extricated from the vehicle and suffered serious life-threatening injuries.


He was transported from the scene by Hartford Paramedics and later flown by Flight For Life to the Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa.  The driver of the Infinity was arrested for operating while impaired, first offense.

The operator of the 2024 Western Star semi, a 35-year-old male from Wheeling, Illinois, was uninjured in the crash and later released from the scene.

Assisting at the scene were City of Hartford Police Department, City of Hartford Fire and EMS, Wisconsin State Patrol, Dodge County Emergency Response Team (DCERT), and the Neosho/Rubicon/Ashippun Police Department.    

The name of the driver is being withheld pending family notification and the crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team.
