One person injured in industrial accident in Village of Jackson

April 16, 2021 – Jackson, WI – One person was injured Thursday night, April 15, 2021, after becoming trapped between machinery at Sysco Food Services, 1 Sysco Drive, Jackson.

According to Jackson Police Chief Ryan Vossekuil an employee became trapped between a guardrail and a powered pallet jack. The incident was called in just before 10:30 p.m.

Jackson Fire and Rescue responded and the person was taken to Froedtert St. Joes and later taken by Flight for Life to Froedtert in Milwaukee. The injuries were deemed “serious.”

The incident remains under investigation. The scene was cleared at 11:30 p.m.

A call has been placed to Sysco. This is a working story and more information will be posted when details become available.
