Washington County, WI – In-person absentee voting for the April 4, 2023, Spring Election is underway. In-person absentee voting runs through Friday, March 31, 2023.
You will need to present ID to receive an absentee ballot. If you are not already registered to vote at your current address, you may register to vote, with proof of residence, at any absentee voting location through Friday, March 31.
Election Day is Tuesday, April 4, 2023 and all voters should bring identification to the polls. Polls open from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

No in-person absentee voting may occur on the day before the election.
According to the Wisconsin Election Commission, a voter who is confined can designate someone to turn in their ballot. All polling places in communities across Washington County, WI will, according to the guidance below, accept absentee ballots.
Absentee Return - Options Under Federal Voting Rights Act 09072022 (1)The municipal clerk will deliver voted ballots returned on or before Election Day to the proper polling place or counting location before the polls close on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. Any ballots received after the polls close will not be counted.
