February 2, 2024 – Hartford, WI – The race for two seats on the Hartford Union High School Board is now down to three candidates as Damon Morgan has notified the district he is no longer running.
According to the district: On January 23, 2024, Mr. Damon D. Morgan notified Hartford Union High School District that he would like to remove himself as a school board candidate in the upcoming April 2Â election.

However, due to Wisconsin State Statute 120.06(7)(a) ‘Once filed, a declaration of candidacy or nomination papers may not be withdrawn.’
Therefore, Mr. Damon Morgan will still appear on the April 2 ballot, while the District will grant his request to remove information about his candidacy.
