March 29, 2022 – West Bend, WI – On Monday, March 28, 2022, at approximately 11:30 p.m. a citizen called 911 to report a possible fire to a residence in the 1100 block of North 11th Avenue.
Both adult occupants evacuated the residence safely.
West Bend Police Department and West Bend Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. The house sustained substantial damage.
The fire remains under investigation by the West Bend Fire and Police Departments. There were no injuries reported.
The West Bend Fire Department reminds all residents to maintain working smoke detectors on every level of your home, both inside and outside bedrooms. Call 911 immediately and evacuate when you think your house is on fire, and never re-enter the home to retrieve property or pets.
