August 23, 2017 – Township of Theresa – On August 23, 2017 at 4:32 a.m., the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash near the intersection where STH 28, STH 67/175, and CTH TW meet in the Township of Theresa.
Preliminary investigation showed that a 28-year-old woman from Horicon was operating a 1999 Pontiac sedan East on CTH TW.
The driver of the Pontiac failed to stop for the stop sign, and was struck by a 2014 GMC truck that was traveling South on STH 67/175 operated by a 44-year-old man from Allenton. A 35-year-old man from Malone was a passenger in the truck. Neither occupants of the truck reported having injuries.
The woman was transported to Aurora Hospital in Oconomowoc by medical helicopter due to serious injuries suffered in the crash.
Assisting at the scene was: Theresa Fire and EMS, Mayville Police Department, and Flight for Life.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office crash investigation team.
