Horicon Bank promotes 3 empire

Washington Co., WI –  Horicon Bank is pleased to announce the promotions of
Ashley E. Balistreri to Vice President, Michele Conrad to Assistant Vice President and Kara Guse to Assistant Vice President within their organization.

Balistreri joined Horicon Bank in 2010 as a student teller. In 2016, she became a Junior Credit Analyst and later a Mortgage Loan Originator (NMLS #1811916) in the Bank’s Iron Ridge, Neosho, New Berlin and Wauwatosa communities. As an active member of her community, Balistreri recently joined the Emerging Women Leader’s group in Milwaukee and volunteers with the Iron Ridge Lions Club.

Conrad joined Cornerstone Community Bank as a credit analyst in 2016 and later joined Horicon Bank in 2023 through the merger of the two institutions. An experienced accountant by trade, Conrad’s customers especially appreciate her ability to analyze their financial needs. She has served as IT Administrator on the Board of Directors for the Menomonee Falls Food Pantry and enjoys volunteering at local Mel’s Charities events.

Guse was hired in 2023 as Horicon Bank’s Virtual Banking and Service Operations Officer. Guse brings more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry to her role. Guse has led her team in launching Interactive Teller Machines in Horicon Bank’s communities and drives strategic initiatives utilizing the Bank’s online chat and phone system. She is active in the West Bend community, serving on the Board of Directors for The Tower History Center and Leadership West Bend.

President Fred C. Schwertfeger congratulated Balistreri, Conrad and Guse on their promotions. “Ashley, Michele and Kara are integral members of our Horicon Bank team,” said Schwertfeger. “They truly live out our vision of doing good together in our communities, for our customers and with our associates.”
