Germantown, WI – Reconstruction of Holy Hill Road is scheduled for 2022, with an estimated start date in April.
Relocation of power poles and gas mains by We-energies has started.
Reconstruction of Holy Hill Road was included in the scope of infrastructure improvements in the TID #8 Industrial Development, which means the TID will fund the cost for the reconstruction.
In addition, the Village of Germantown has received a $1 million grant from the State of Wisconsin to be used towards the reconstruction.
The road will be constructed as a 4-lane divided roadway (refer to maps) which consists of 2 lanes of traffic in each direction separated by an 18-foot wide median.
The reconstruction will include curb/gutter, asphalt pavement, a 10-foot sidewalk on the southside, a 6-foot walkway on the northside and streetlights in the median.
The intersection with Goldendale Road will be controlled by traffic lights with future traffic lights to be installed at additional intersections as traffic flow dictates.
During construction two-way traffic will be maintained with delays in travel to be expected, it is recommended travelers take a different route if possible.
Final completion of construction is scheduled for November 2022.
