Student of the Month – September 2016
6th Grade – Delanie Heinen
The junior high teachers discovered Delanie’s energetic interest in learning the first day of school. She is a curious student who participates fully in all of her classes. Delanie works hard and treats everyone respectfully. She competes on the Holy Angels volleyball team. Outside of school, Delanie loves to dance and is taking lessons. She loves reading and art, as well as creating her own stories.
7th Grade – Jayden Omernick
Jayden has entered seventh grade with a positive attitude towards learning. The teachers immediately noticed how responsible he has been towards his schoolwork. He participates well in class, and completes all of his work with dedication. Add this to his charming and easy-going personality, and he is truly a pleasure to have in class. Jayden loves sports, especially track and cross country. In fact, he hopes to compete in the Olympics one day.
8th Grade – Brooke Voelker
Brooke is a hard-working student who has shown an increasing desire to learn throughout her middle school years. She is not afraid to ask questions when she needs ideas clarified. Teachers say that she seems more confident this year and love her good attitude in class. These traits will come in handy when she achieves her goal of being a lawyer. Brooke is truly one of the happiest kids around, and it is not surprising to know that she enjoys hanging out with friends when she isn’t playing volleyball or softball.
