6th Grade: Kennedy Mayer

From the beginning of the year, it was clear Kennedy would be one of those dependable, hardworking students. She approaches learning with a great attitude, showing an interest in growing, and effort to produce quality work. She is good at following directions and remaining focused even in unstructured learning situations. Kennedy’s favorite class is science, although she performs consistently in all classes. She wants to be a hairdresser when she grows up.

7th Grade: Sophia Cornelius

It’s been said that intends to be president of the United States one day, and we have no trouble believing that could happen. Sophia is one of those students who exudes confidence and works well with a variety of people. She is a born leader, with strong convictions and an interest in learning. She is the secretary of the Student Council, serves at Mass and is an afternoon patrol. Her teachers appreciate these qualities, as well as her ability to diffuse situations and handle conflict. If she doesn’t go into politics, Sophia said she may choose to be a lawyer.

8th Grade: Whitney Grube

Whitney has only been at Holy Angels for a few years, but she has quickly blended in. She is respectful (even when arguing for a change in due dates or amount of homework) and organized. She can be counted on to focus during class, get her work done on time, and help others when they need it. She enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as playing soccer or otherwise training for athletics. Her dream job would be a physical therapist.
