West Bend, WI – Holy Angels School May 2024 Student of the Month includes Maysen Worth, Alex Kandel, and Christian Zywicki.
6th Grade: Maysen Worth – It would be hard to find a student who does a better job of being a student than Maysen. She is a hard worker who shows genuine interest in learning. She is willing to ask questions, shows self-motivation and works well individually as well as in groups. Her work is always done neatly and with a lot of thought and effort. Maysen finds time to do more than schoolwork. She likes to play soccer and volleyball as well as go hunting and fishing. She thinks it would be cool to work in a hospital when she grows up.
7th Grade: Alex Kandel – Alex is a smart kid who shows a great deal of creativity. His work on short story writing has been above and beyond expectations. He learns easily and takes pride in showing his learning on assignments and tests. He contributes to class discussions by asking interesting questions. Outside of school, Alex enjoys jiu-jitsu as well as playing video games. He wants to be an engineer when he grows up.
8th Grade: Christian Zywicki – Christian is known for being a kind and fun person to hang out with. He is a hard worker who always tries his best. As a result, he shows consistent improvement. This is true for classwork as well as sports. Christian competes at shot put and discus during track season. In fact, he has had to miss school to get to his competitions. His teachers find he is extremely responsible about making up missed work. Christian wants to spend his adult years doing what he enjoys now: hunting, fishing, and playing football.
