“I graduated from the UW-Stout in Early Childhood Education. I started teaching at Holy Angels as an aide in the 4K classroom, and in 2020-2021 I became the lead teacher in the 3K room.
“Having taught in the suburbs in Illinois, both 3K and 4K, in a public school it is very refreshing to teach in a Catholic school. I love teaching the 3K students about our Catholic faith.
“My family and I became members of Holy Angels when we moved up from Illinois. We felt welcomed and loved all the wonderful festivals that the Church, as well as the school, do throughout the year. When I walked into the school to apply for the job as the aide, everyone was kind and one can feel the respect that the students as well as the staff have for the school and each other.
“I’ve been married to my husband, Mark, for 34 years. We have two children, our son Shawn and his wife Sami live in Vermont with my two grandchildren (3 years old and 6 months old), and our daughter Candice lives in Tampa, Florida.
“In my spare time, I love going for walks on the beach with my husband, going out on the lake in my kayak, working in my gardens, and traveling to see my children.”
