Shanders said, “After attending Mass at Holy Angels we loved the welcoming, family feel and became parish members. Both of our girls started attending Holy Angels School for 3K and we loved how supportive and encouraging the families and staff were. Our oldest is now in 2nd grade and our youngest is in Kindergarten.”

“There are so many opportunities to be involved and support such a wonderful school community. Some of our favorite family events are Donuts with Dad, Muffins with Mom, and VIP Day. Being involved in our children’s education is so important to us and we have plenty of those opportunities here at Holy Angels,” said Shanders.

Shanders appreciates the values instilled at Holy Angels school, “We are so lucky that our girls are taught service and values every day surrounded by dedicated staff, friends, and families.”

Re-entering the workforce after having her daughters opened the door to a teaching position at Holy Angels School two years ago, “I had just started back to work after staying home with the girls after our move and during their early childhood years, and I can’t say how blessed I am to also be teaching at Holy Angels.”
Shanders had prior teaching experience from Saint Mary’s Parish in Menomonee Falls for a year and then she taught in Phoenix, AZ for 3 years after graduating with her Masters in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University and her Bachelor’s in Business Management from Arizona State University.
“I currently teach third grade and love all of the perks of being involved in such a supportive community,” said Shanders.
