Holy Angels November 2024 Students of the Month | By Michelle Spaeth

West Bend, WI – In an effort to recognize academic achievement, personal growth, and dedication to Christian values Holy Angels School in West Bend, WI highlights 3 students for the month of November 2024 – 6th Grade: Layla Deppert, 7th Grade: Gemma Shafaie, and 8th Grade: Dylan Doll.

6th Grade: Layla Depper is one of those students that teachers enjoy. She is hard-working, responsible, independent, and seems to enjoy learning. She is motivated to produce her best work and will ask questions if she needs clarification. She is also considerate and respectful. Layla particularly enjoys English class but works well in all academic areas. Layla has involved herself in school leadership, working as a classroom representative in the student council. Her dream is to be a doctor when she grows up.

7th Grade:  Gemma Shafaie is one of those students who can be counted on to do the right thing. She gets along with students and teachers alike. Gemma is always on task and puts forth great effort. Teachers note that she is willing to ask questions and re-do assignments to show greater understanding.  Teachers find her to be responsible and often ask her to help out. She is involved with school activities and is one of the best patrols with the kindergarteners. Gemma says that she takes pleasure in helping others and wants to be a nurse or doctor when she grows up.

8th Grade:  Dylan Doll is a charming student who is always in a good mood. While he doesn’t put school on his list of favorite things, he says he likes the teachers and makes a point of being a responsible student. Dylan enjoys hanging out with friends and playing basketball. In fact, his dream job would be playing in the NBA. Dylan is appreciated for his sly sense of humor, outgoing personality, and general decency. Dylan serves at Mass. He is also one of the most beloved patrols, arriving to welcome kindergarteners in the morning.
