Social media teamed with old-school media this week in downtown West Bend as Betty Bartelt with All in Books, 136 N. Main St., joined forces with Ellen Wojahn, author of West Bend Buy/Sell/Trade, to help families in need this Christmas.
The pair, along with Jason Cruz, Victoria Miller, and Maggie Zaborek collected food and distributed Christmas dinners and toys. “Our goal is that no family who is need goes with out this holiday,” Bartelt said.
Organizers provided 15 families with a Christmas meal and toys.
