April 18, 2024 – West Bend, WI – Helen Wagner, 84, of West Bend, died Saturday, April 13 at Kathy’s Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her mother Marcella Wagner, aunts, Catherine Wagner, Eleanore Wagner, Dorothy Wagner, Ethel (Matt) Klein and uncle John (Odela) Wagner. She is survived by multiple relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
Helen was born on December 13, 1939 in Barton. Throughout her life, her faith was very important to her, and she was a dedicated member of St. Mary’s Parish. Now that she has passed into the arms of our Lord, her physical life on earth is over, but it is the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Helen’s career was spent in the retail field at Schultz Brothers Department Store and Shopko. She enjoyed the personal interactions and connections that serving customers provided.
Helen dearly loved her pet dogs. She had a soft spot for her furry friends treating each and every one like the valuable family member they were. She also loved puzzles, games and sewing.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 23 at St. Mary’s Parish, 406 Jefferson Street, West Bend from 9 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 am, presided by Father Jacob Strand. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
