Feb. 2, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Fire Call – 200 Block of Valley Avenue
On Feb. 2, 2017, at 9:45 a.m., an employee at Aurora Advanced Health Care, 205 Valley Avenue, reported smoke in the ventilation system.
The health center was safely evacuated and the investigation determined that a power surge had occurred in the electrical system causing the smoke. There was no fire in the system or building. The center was closed temporarily for maintenance on the electrical system. There were no injuries associated with the incident.
