May 1, 2024 – Hartford, Wi – High School girls from across Wisconsin will join together for the Distinguished Young Women of Wisconsin State Finals to be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 6 p.m.
Participants will vie for cash scholarships and the opportunity to represent Wisconsin as the Distinguished Young Woman of Wisconsin at the National Finals in Mobile, Alabama.

The 2025 Wisconsin State representative, along with 49 other high school winners, will seek the opportunity to acquire some of the $100,000 in cash scholarships and hundreds of thousands of dollars of college-granted scholarships at the National Finals Program.
Riya Kalluvila, Hartford Union High School student, will participate at the Class of 2025 Distinguished Young Woman State Finals Program as the Distinguished Young Woman of Hartford. She is a junior at Hartford Union High School and is the daughter of Rachana and Thomas Kalluvila of Hartford.

Founded in 1958, Distinguished Young Women is a free program that encourages participants to reach their full individual potential. Its mission is to empower young women by providing over $1 billion in scholarship opportunities, developing their self-confidence and participating in a Life Skills Workshops that prepare them for success after high school. The state program is on track to award $20,000 in college scholarships this year.
