April 25, 2017 – Hartford, WI – The Hartford Police Department is investigating several instances of individuals passing counterfeit $100 bills.
The bills look authentic except for the fact they say “For Cinema Use Only” in several spots on the front and back of the bills.
The money is actually prop money used for motion pictures.
Please report any information you may have regarding these bills being used fraudulently and any individuals that may be associated with the passing of said bills.
