Hartford Union High School Shines at the 2024 Jerry Awards | By Katrina Cravy

Hartford, WI – Hartford Union High School is proud to announce its outstanding achievements at the 2024 Jerry Awards, one of Wisconsin’s most prestigious recognitions in high school musical theater.

The school’s production of
Once Upon A Mattress garnered multiple awards, highlighting the exceptional talent and dedication of its students and staff.

Award Highlights:

  • Outstanding Orchestra
  • Outstanding Overall Design
  • Outstanding Leading Performance: Maddy Adams (Princess Winnifred)
  • Outstanding Dance Performance: Amiah Brakob (Jester Dance Soloist)
  • Spirit Award: Brady Senkbeil
  • Outstanding Musical Direction: Ernie Brusubardis

Musical Director Ernie Brusubardis expressed his pride in the students’ achievements. “Receiving a Jerry Award is an affirmation of the level of artistry our musical students and staff bring to the process every day.  We are proud of everyone,” he said.

The Jerry Awards celebrate excellence in high school musical theater across Wisconsin, and this year’s accolades further solidify Hartford Union’s reputation for artistic excellence and commitment to fostering young talent.
