July 7, 2022 – Hartford, WI – The new location for Hartford’s Fireworks went off with a bang on Monday night as they made their debut in Independence Park and incurring no major issues.
This new location was chosen for several reasons but primarily due to safety setbacks for larger shells. In the past, shells were no larger than 3” in diameter. The new show featured 5” shells and may go to 6” in the future. The larger the shells, the further back the setback needed.
Staff members met shortly after the 4th to discuss ways to improve parking next year.
