Early-morning house fire in Hartford, WI | By Chief Paul Stephans

February 28, 2022 – Hartford, WI – Hartford Fire & Rescue Department responded at a call at 6 a.m. on Monday, February 28, 2022, to East Sumner Street for a house fire.

Fire personnel arrived on scene and confirmed the building was unoccupied and extinguished the fire.  Damage to the house is estimated to be $25,000.

There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Hartford Fire & Rescue Department was assisted by the Hartford Police Department, Hartford Electric Utility, WE Energies, Washington County Sheriff’s Department, St. Lawrence Fire Department, Slinger Fire Department, and Lifestar EMS.
