Five students successfully passed the test and earned their ASE certification, a prestigious achievement recognized across the automotive industry.

The top two students from this group, Chase Whitcomb and Austin Steger, scored high enough to qualify Hartford Union High School for the ADAMM (Auto Dealers Association of Mega Milwaukee) “Technicians of Tomorrow” competition. This highly competitive event takes place during the Milwaukee Auto Show in February,

“We are excited to see Chase and Austin showcase their talents at the auto show competition in February, “says HUHS Auto Tech Instructor Matt Kerhin. “These two students may go on to a career as a technician, but others may decide on a career selling vehicles or being part of the finance team. Our automotive program at HUHS gives our students many different opportunities if they are interested in a career in the transportation industry. ”

The ADAMM Technicians of Tomorrow competition challenges students to demonstrate their knowledge and hands-on skills in automotive repair and diagnostics. Students will compete in a series of timed, real-world automotive tasks designed to test their problem-solving abilities and technical expertise.
