Sept. 21, 2017 – Washington Co., WI – As the fall colors begin to sweep across Washington County this year’s GERMANfest is already fading in the rear-view mirror. However organizers of the August event have some great news.
“We raised $70,000 net,” said GERMANfest’s Lisa Johnson. “We could not have done it without the community sponsorship’s, in-kind contributions, volunteers and participation! We have enough now to cover the material costs of a home as well as the land to build a house.”
There were record crowds that packed the tent in downtown West Bend on Thursday and Friday for GERMANfest.
