Slinger, WI – State Representative Rick Gundrum (center left) is presented with the Associated Builders and Contactors of Wisconsin “Building Wisconsin” award at Craft Masonry in Slinger by (L-R) Skip Scherwinski, Roxanne Lind, and Wayne Scherwinski.
Gundrum received the award for his work in the Wisconsin legislature breaking down barriers to enter the skilled construction trades.
According to the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are currently 450,000 construction jobs open nationwide, up from 360,000 last year.
