The announcement kicked off with a groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion at United Way’s Hartford Resource Center.  This strategic development aims to enhance community services to meet the growing needs of residents.

The expansion allows for the inclusion of Interfaith Caregivers and a secondary location for the H.E.L.P. Corner program within Washington County.  The H.E.L.P. Corner is a short term, durable medical equipment loan program that brings mobility and independence to community members in need. The United Way Hartford Resource Center building will be remodeled to suit the needs of Interfaith Caregivers, which will have its own building entrance.

The expansion is in response to the increasing demand for assistance in Hartford, particularly among senior citizens and individuals seeking resources closer to home. By establishing additional space for Interfaith Caregivers and a secondary H.E.L.P.
