Governor orders flags to be flown half-staff tomorrow to honor firefighter.

March 2, 2017 – Washington County, WI – According to the Department of Military Affairs “the Governor of Wisconsin has ordered flags to fly at half-staff, Friday, March 3, 2017, as a mark of respect for Firefighter Terrance E. Shafer who died in the line of duty on Saturday, February 25, 2017.
In accordance with this order, please ensure that the flag of the United States and the flag of the State of Wisconsin are flown at half-staff at all state facilities, beginning at sunrise Friday, March 3, 2017, and ending at sunset on that date.
Executive Order #234 is now available online – or at http://dma.wi.gov/DMA (public affairs, flag-lowering orders).”
