Washington Co., WI – On a history note, sharing a favorite from 2016 during National Fire Prevention Awareness Week.
Oct. 27, 2016 – Barton, WI – A full house this week at the Barton Roller Mill as Eileen Eckert gave a presentation on the history of the Barton Fire Department. Eckert provided some history on firefighting equipment and detailed a couple of significant local fires.
Bob Voss took the floor and chimed in with a few good old-school stories of his own about days of youth when they hung off the back of the fire truck as they raced to the scene.
