August 10, 2017 – West Bend, WI – There will be plenty of German-style beers on tap at this year’s GERMANfest in West Bend, August 24 – 27, but some American beers from micro breweries will be available as well.
Local beer connoisseur Craig Walker provided a look at this year’s beer lineup:
MKE Brewing Oktoberfest – Traditionally brewed with pale ale, caramel and toasted Munich malts that attribute a sweet earthy malty flavor, toasted aroma and a bright orange hue.
Prost Dunkel – This is a dark amber lager with a style characterized by its smooth malty flavor.
Fire Light from Chameleon Brewing (Sprecher) – An American pale lager with a low Alcohol By Volume
Rift IPA from Central Waters Brewing Amherst, WI – India Pale Ale
Spotted Cow from New Glarus – a Wisconsin farmhouse ale
