February 15, 2021 – Washington Co., WI – Motorists across Washington County did a doubletake on Monday, February as the price at the pump for a gallon of gas jumped dramatically.
In West Bend the price for a gallon of regular unleaded climbed from $2.35 overnight to $2.49.
Slinger and Hartford held steady at $2.35 for regular unleaded. GasBuddy listed prices in Germantown at $2.25.
Analysts are saying the increase is due to a decrease in supply / increase in demand. There’s also some thought about a change in policy towards the oil industry with the new administration in the White House.
Thanks Biden NOT MY PRESIDENT!
It has very little to do with Biden Lol 😆. It is basic economics that we learned in grade school. The price of crude oil has gone up and months ago gas prices were down because people weren’t using as much gas. I am sure people want to blame it on the keystone pipeline that isn’t even built yet. 🙄
Thank you, Brandi.
It also has to do with WB having the highest gas prices around. Ridiculous. Don’t fill up in WB if you don’t have too!
I,m still flying my trump flags , will continue until trump 2024 is re-elected.sleepy joe is not my president. Stop the steal
Does anyone really know why gas in West Bend is 20 CENTS PER GALLON higher than it is in Menomonee Falls and Germantown?
