West Bend, WI – The Memorial Day weekend is here and it appears Kwik Trip in Fond du Lac understands truckers and hard-working Americans.
What sort of increase are you experiencing? Today it’s $3.99 to $3.89 for a gallon of regular unleaded in West Bend, Wi.
Early last a gallon of regular unleaded topped out at $3.39. Within 24 hours that jumped to $3.59 and today $3.99 a gallon in West Bend.
What sort of increase are you experiencing. Below is a similar story from 2023.
May 21, 2023 – West Bend, Wi – Just ahead of the four-day Memorial Day weekend gas prices in West Bend, WI have spiked to $3.79 for a gallon of regular unleaded.
According to gasbuddy.com there is a pretty wild price swing across Washington County, WI.

Richfield, Jackson and Germantown are all at $3.55 for a gallon of regular unleaded. Colgate checks in at $3.52 and Slinger tags in at $3.57.
In neighboring Fond du Lac County, prices are noticeably less, ranging between $3.25 – $3.29 for regular unleaded.
Milwaukee County is anywhere from $3.29 to $3.46.
What sort of prices are you seeing?
The only reason Kwik Trip in Fond du Lac is at 3.16 is because the Love’s across the street went to 3.16 and KT matched them. Kwik Trip will gauge anyone as is currently seen in West Bend. Look at $3.59 in Jackson and $3.62 in Hartford where non-Kwik Trips keep the prices lower.
Yep came here to say the same thing! It’s the only Kwik Trip in town with that price!
It has been $3.99 in racine since Wednesday
Kwik Trip hauls its gas from la crosse and it top line fuel. Alot of others can charge less as they pay less and it comes out of milwaukee and maybe at times older gas. But it still works
I get my gas from the shell. They are same price on pump as Love and KT. But I’m a reward member and get 10 cents discount per gallon
Fleet Farm in Fond du lac is also at $3.16/gallon
I’ve seen KT tankers filling up at the Milwaukee fuel depot so they don’t haul all their gas from Lacrosse.
I was in Milwaukee on Saturday and gas was as high as $4.09 on Brown Deer Road
I haul gas for KT, I promise you it doesn’t come from LaCrosse. Fond du lac comes from Waupon. West Bend from Milwaukee.
Kwik trip doesn’t haul fuel clear across the state. I’m betting there is a refinery close to FDL
There is a KT in Hartford. Hwy 60 and Hwy K. The price gets just as high
Gas was $3.16 yesterday at KT on Peters Avenue
KT is always the first to raise its price in WB. The rest follow since WB promotes it. There is no competition in WB. It goes back to when WB had industry. WB Co, Geils, Enger Kress, Amity. All were union the the wages were similar.
