July 24, 2024 – Washington Co., WI – Triple A says the national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is $3.50. Neighbors in West Bend and Washington County, WI wish they could be part of that average. What say you? What prices are you seeing?
Motorists in Slinger, Hartford, and West Bend, WI, watched gas climb from $3.49 to $3.69 to now $3.89 within about a week. In West Bend, Wi, even the price of diesel is less than a gallon of regular unleaded at $3.37.

According to AAA the reason the price is $3.50 nationally is because of “summer doldrums” and the “terrible demand for gas.”
According to GasBuddy.com elsewhere around the state of Wisconsin, prices are $3.10 in Green Bay, $3.29 in Milwaukee, $3.39 in Waukesha, and Brookfield runs the gamut from $3.49 to $3.69.
