Dec. 20, 2016 – West Bend, WI – Anna Jaeger, 74, of West Bend, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016, at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, surrounded by her loving family.
Anna was born on March 21, 1942, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late William and Anna (Pausch) Sandvoss and on June 24, 1961, she was united in marriage to Harvey Jaeger in Milwaukee.
Anna loved her family and spending her summers up north in Hayward with her friends at the Chippewa flowage. She enjoyed playing a good game of poker and going to the casino. Christmas was her favorite time of the year; she got to enjoy her Christmas tree before she passed away. Anna also loved working as a waitress at Dick’s Pizzeria in West Bend for over 25 years.
Those Anna leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Harvey; three children, Karen (John) Unruh, James (Bobby Jo) Jaeger, and AnnMarie (Shawn) Corbett all of West Bend; five grandchildren, Katy (Garrison) Coyne, Emily Shebanek, Jessica and Danielle Corbett and Tremayne Jaeger; a sister: Betty Augustyn; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by a son-in-law, John Shebanek III and two sisters, Elsie (Larry) Koopman and Lucille (Gene) Davis.
A funeral service for Anna will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at Myrhum Patten Miller and Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, in West Bend with Rev. Robert Korytkowski officiating. Burial will take place in Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend on Friday at 10 a.m.
Anna’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
