St. Marcus Family,
Our friend and brother-in-Christ, Mark Speerschneider, was called home by our Heavenly Father this past Monday evening. He had two seizures in his home and couldn’t be resuscitated. He had suffered numerous seizures in recent months. His loving wife Nell was with him when he passed.
Our congregation now enters a mourning period in sadness of this loss. And yet we also “grieve with hope” (1 Thess. 4:13), because we are fully confident of Mark’s peaceful rest in heaven.
Our Lord and Savior Jesus rose from the grave and ensured that those of us who die in him will live forever – experiencing the life we were ultimately meant for.
We will be gathering as a family of believers to worship the Lord, for his goodness to Mark, and his goodness to us through Mark, this coming Sunday afternoon.
Funeral Details:
Sunday, June 27, at St. Marcus.
2215 N Palmer Street
Visitation begins at 2:00 pm.
The service begins at 4:00 pm.
My heartfelt condolences go out to Mark’s family and friends .
May you be at peace Mark! Had a blast playing music together, memories that will last me for life! My heart is with Nell and the rest of his family!
