Washington Co., WI – Bring out the sheets and blankets as a hard frost is in the forecast for Washington County. Farmers and florists are hustling to get their summer produce out of the fields and neighbors are covering their flowers as the National Weather Service is calling for a hard frost early Saturday morning, October 8, 2022.
The National Weather Service predicts temps will fall below freezing around 4 a.m. Saturday.
According to the National Weather Service –
Friday night: Widespread frost, mainly after 3 a.m. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 31. West wind around 5 mph.
Saturday – wear a jacket, hat and mittens to the Farmers’ Market and expect to see Tom Schwai in shorts.
Widespread frost before 7 a.m. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 55. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Mostly clear, with a low around 38. West wind around 10 mph.
