Free Narcan training session for those assisting in opiate/opoiod overdose | By Ron Naab

Washington Co., WI – The Washington County Heroin Task Force and Elevate is hosting a free Narcan/naloxone training on July 10 at Terrace 167 in Richfield at 6 p.m.

Ronna Corliss, Director of Community Engagement and Partnerships, said the public is open to attend this free training.  All in attendance will perform nasal Narcan at no cost.

Corliss said Elevate is willing to train local agencies, churches, school personnel, etc. free until Sept. 30, 2019.

Elevate also hosts group support sessions for those that have loved ones affected with an addiction. The support sessions are Wednesday morning, 10 a.m. to noon at the Holy Angels Church in West Bend, Wednesday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Elevate in Jackson or Thursday morning at Divine Savior Lutheran Church in Hartford.
