Four Chaplains observance is Thursday, February 6 at Living Word Lutheran High School | By James Maersch

Jackson, WI – On February 3, 1942, four Army chaplains gave their lives to save others. The troop ship, USAT Dorchester, carrying 902 passengers was torpedoed and sunk within 20 minutes.

The chaplains gave their own life jackets to those who had none.  They were among the 672 who died that day
An observance of this event will be held at Living Word Lutheran High School in Jackson on Thursday, February 6 at 10 a.m.
All veterans are invited to attend this event.
