Feb. 7, 2017 – Dodge Co., WI – It looks like former Washington County Attorney Kim Nass will be working in neighboring Dodge County.
According to a report on WBEV Radio Beaver Dam the Dodge County Board’s Executive Committee selected Nass to be the county’s lead attorney. Their story is posted below.
Supervisors last week had an opportunity to meet the three candidates for corporation counsel. Kimberly Nass is being tabbed to fill the open position.
Nass previously served as the corporation counsel in Washington County.
County Administrator James Mielke says she brought the broadest range of existing corporation counsel experience to Dodge County and that was the major factor in her recommendation.
Nass will be providing legal oversight to all of Dodge County operations. That includes reviewing contracts, handling traffic and civil cases and also human services matters.
Mielke believes that Nass will hit the ground running and will be able to work with the existing staff and department heads.
The Dodge County Board will confirm the position on at their meeting in two weeks (Wednesday, February 22). If approved, Nass would begin her duties on Monday, February 27.
