Cory Presnick is Principal at Corta Development. “We have a vision for the property,” he said. “We’ve done similar projects in Sheboygan and Fond du Lac so it will be something similar in nature with redevelopment.”
In Fond du Lac, WI Corta Development purchased the former Shopko building and Big Lots, Inc. opened on the east end and Hobby Lobby will be taking up a majority of the property to the west with a Taco John’s being constructed in the out lot.
Presnick said the Shopko property in West Bend, WI was inviting because of the endcaps; Hobby Lobby and Kohl’s and he liked the location of Meijer grocery. “We have a lot of frontage on Main Street,” he said. “We like the opportunity to redevelop the box and the outparcel development.”

There are quite a few national chains that have been courted… Presnick said the location on S. Main Street will be divided into four sections. Who would you like to see come to town?
