Former Mother’s Day Restaurant building for sale or lease

March 19, 2018 – West Bend, WI – Neighbors in West Bend who wondered if Mother’s Day Restaurant, 501 Wildwood Road in West Bend would ever reopen now have their answer.

This weekend a sign went up that read, ‘Building for sale or lease 920-214-3190.’

Mother’s Day Restaurant closed in Oct. 2017. Owner Sam Fejzuli said he had trouble getting employees and it was also difficult to “keep everybody happy.”

Fejzuli purchased the property in May 2015.  It was previously a Dairy Queen; the property had been in foreclosure since January 2014, and was listed at $390,000.

The sale price in 2015 was $260,000.

Originally from Macedonia, Fejzuli has been in the U.S. for 29 years. Fejzuli owned the Mother’s Day Restaurant in Horicon.

Questioned last October whether the closure was temporary or whether Fejzuli would open elsewhere or sell the property, he said, “You ask me questions I don’t have the answers to.”
