Washington Co., WI – There will be fireworks this July in Washington County as Hartford, West Bend, the Village of Kewaskum, and Washington County Fair prep for amazing displays.
“The Washington County Fair has fireworks scheduled opening night,” said Fair Executive Director Kellie Boone. “There will be free admission that day and everyone is welcome to come sit on the hill and watch the best fireworks around.”
It was July 24, 2020 when Washington County Fair Park worked with Tony from Fireworks Country in Wittenberg to “wake up West Bend and Jackson.” And they did just that.
The evening was warm and the mosquitoes were having a field day but the fireworks were hands down the best show ever. Especially the grand finale when Tony poured gasoline on everything and lit off a display called “Rolling Thunder.”

The crowd 80-yards away was told to back up a bit …. as the burst of “Rolling Thunder” was powerful enough to singe your eyebrows.
The amazing fireworks at the Washington County Fair will be July 20, 2021. The event and admission to the County Fair that day is free and open to the public.
The Village of Kewaskum will hold its fireworks on Saturday, July 3 at River Hill Park. Blankets will be welcome on the hill and the display will fire at dusk with food sales by the Kewaskum Fire Department. The event is free and open to the public.
Horicon Bank in West Bend is sponsoring the Fourth of July fireworks at Riverside Park in West Bend.
The Hartford Foundation is currently raising money for its fireworks display at Gib Mahr Field, 805 Cedar Street, on July 4. Stay tuned!
