February 10, 2025 – West Bend, WI – On February 10, 2025, at 3:17 p.m. West Bend Police officers responded to the Meadowbrook Manor apartment complex, 475 Meadowbrook Drive, for a report of a disturbance in a common hall area.
Responding officers made contact with a 48-year-old West Bend man responsible for the disturbance.
The man told officers he intended to arm himself. Officers attempted to utilize a taser device to gain control of the man, but he retreated into his apartment.
Phone contact was made with the man, and he exited his apartment without further incident.
The man was placed in the Washington County Jail and the investigation is ongoing to determine the criminal charges. Firearms were recovered from the man’s residence. There were no injuries during this incident.
