Washington Co., Wi – For Washington County taxpayers who pay their taxes in installments, the final property tax payment is due by Saturday, July 31, 2021.
If your property is in Washington County, or you have prior-year delinquent taxes, you must pay the Washington County Treasurer. Several options are posted below.
- Checks or money orders may be mailed to the Washington County Treasurer, 432 E. Washington St., West Bend, WI 53095. If you would like a return receipt mailed to you, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment. Make sure that your mail receives a U.S. postmark on or before July 31.
- Pay in person by check, cash or money order at the County Treasurer’s Office, 432 E. Washington St., West Bend. Treasurer’s office is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Extended hours until 6 p.m. on July 12, 19 and 26.
- Pay by credit card, CLICK HERE. Taxpayers should be aware an additional charge will be added for those who use a credit card. The fee is less for those who pay by e-check through Point & Pay.
It is important property owners meet the July 31, 2021 deadline. If you miss the deadline, the balance on your account will be considered delinquent and subject to interest and penalty of 1.5% per month retroactive to February 1, 2021 (10.5 %).
