Sept. 2, 2017 – Dodge Co., WI – On Sept. 2, 2017 at 7:15 a.m., the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash on Cth G at the intersection with Cth FW, in the Township of Westford, Dodge County.
Preliminary investigation shows that a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling north on Cth FW, approaching a stop sign at the intersection with Cth G. The motorcycle failed to stop for the stop sign and then traveled through the intersection and into the north ditch. The motorcycle vaulted, the driver was ejected and the motorcycle struck a parked (unattended) vehicle.
The male motorcycle operator suffered life-threatening injuries and was flown from the scene by Flight for Life to UW Hospital in Madison.
Assisting at the scene was: Randolph EMS and Fire Department, Flight for Life, Beaver Dam Paramedics and Town of Fox Lake Police.
Identification of the driver is being withheld pending notification of the family and will not be available until at least 9:00 am on 09-03-17.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
