On July 4, 2016 at 5:34 pm, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash on State Highway 33 near Pleasant Rd., in the Township of Fox Lake, Dodge County, Wisconsin.
Preliminary investigation shows that one vehicle was traveling westbound on State Highway 33. The other vehicle was traveling eastbound on State Highway 33 when the vehicles collided. The driver, a lone occupant, of the westbound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dodge County Medical Examiner. The driver of the eastbound vehicle sustained life-threatening injuries and was flown to UW hospital by Flight for Life. The passenger in the eastbound vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Beaver Dam Hospital by ambulance.
Identification of those involved is being withheld until Wednesday July 6th, 2016.
Assisting at the scene was Fox Lake Fire and EMS, Randolph Fire and EMS, Beaver Dam Paramedics, Fox Lake Police Department, Randolph Police Department, Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office, and Flight for Life helicopter.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
